So far, with your generous assistance, Ping Ping has been able to sponsor four girls. Our support includes tuition, room, board, book and supplies for four years of their education. Two of the girls have already finished their first year of school. Their photos and letters warm Ping Ping's heart and she knows they will warm yours as well.

From Zhang, Xiufang, May 25, 2008:
To the love donated and good hearted,
Nin Hao! I¡¯m the girl supported by you. I have not contacted you since a letter sent to you last time. Are you all right? How about your job? I got 100 yuan and some stationery in last semester and I¡¯m very grateful for your help. You are so generous to help me to finish my education. With your help I can become a useful person to our society. What I can do now is study hard for your expectation. I¡¯d like you know that my grades are good, almost each test result is 95 or above. I know that without your help, I would not be able to study like now or just like the children in Sichuan earthquake. Therefore I cherish the beautiful life I¡¯m having now and I¡¯¡¯m going to study hard and pay effort each day. I¡¯d like to say thank you form the bottom of my heart.
Wish you have a good health, good luck and a successful future.
From Sun, Shuangshaung, May 25, 2008:
Dear and respected,
It has been a long time and it is my fault that I did not reach you. Are you all right? Good health? I have received your donation with stationery for last semester and this semester also. You are so generous and thank you so much. My grades are pretty good, so do not worry about me. I feel that my achievement is related to your help, as if there was no support from you, I would not be able to study in the classroom. I¡¯d like you know that we donated for the May 12 earthquake survivors although we have financial difficulties ourselves. Because we know that they suffer a lot, kids there lost their classrooms, lost their fathers and mothers. Their living conditions are much worse than us. At last, no enough words can express my gratitude to you; wish you good health, good luck for your work and everything with you and peaceful for your whole life.
About the Charity Program:
China Children and Teenagers¡¯ Fund (CCTF) was created in 1981 as one of the first charitable foundation in China. Over the past 24 years, CCTF has been striving for the education and welfare of Chinese children, especially those in rural and ethnic minority areas. In 1989, first CCTF launched the ¡°Spring Bud Project," which aimed to assist girls in poverty-stricken regions deprived of education and help them get back to school. According to an independent agency survey, the past 17 years the Spring Bud project has successfully helped sponsor over 1,500,000 girls around China in their education and practical skill training.
With China pushing for compulsory education, the Spring Bud project also refreshed its goals by paying more attention to a girl¡¯s career-orientated education. CCTF has set up a special ¡°Spring Bud Practical Skills Training¡± fund. With the aid of the Spring Bud project, huge numbers of young women have since supported themselves financially and some have even started their own businesses.
